Advice

.iam currently in INDIA doing by 12th standard ie my last year of schooling and next year i have to join a college for my undergraduate study's .i am very very deeply interested in MATHEMATICS and its my passion.i want to be a mathematician, though i haven’t even passed the REGIONAL MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD that's conducted in my country.but the problem is i have no idea as to what i should be working so that i can become a mathematician.i have no clue on where i have to join for my under- graduation or what course i have to go for. but the thing is that i very much love the subject and i would practically do anything to achieve my goal.i jus have a worry tah whether it is too late for me to improve on my mathematical abilities as iam already sixteen.my main areas of interest include some amt of elementary calculus, elemantary sequeces and series, and i also like properties of numbers and fascinated by them. please help me and advice me on which books i should study and which fields should i develop my knowledge more on.

Hey---India Genius---I have almost the same problem as yours---I became really interested in this subject when I was 15---quite late---I was deeply fascinated by math since then---I always doubt whether I have a talent for math---
About reading stuffs I think maybe you can try "An Introduction to the Theory of Numbers "by G.H.Hardy---
