ARML on Google

Google ARML and try to get to the page from there. Interesting...

Also, I tried to go there on Firefox and Firefox blocked it, listing it as an attack site.

And then, the next time I visited it, Firefox crashed.

The above incidence may have just been a random thing (as when I rebooted Firefox and went there again, it just listed it as being an attack site and didn't do anything.)

EDIT: Then, I chose to ignore the warning and skip to the site just to see what would happen (Google said it'd been safe in the last 90 or so days.) And Firefox instantly closed itself.

EDIT2: Darn I misread it. It resulted in malicious content being installed on 10/24/09. Scanning computer now...

Comments?

Yeah, I noticed this too.

It probably was hacked. I wonder why they targeted ARML and not something else...

Does anyone know of a new website that ARML has migrated to, in the meantime?

I got the following response to an email message:

I doubt it. We should wait until ARML organizers tell us it is safe to use.

See here; apparently "the malicious code has been removed".

People that are malicious people use codes that are malicious in nature.

While we are on the subject of the website: Are (were) there any past problems other than last year's?

There are, but I think ARML has a copyright on them. They're probably going to get released in a book soon (if not already)...

There WERE, but ARML took them down after they made the new book.
