Am I the only one who didn't read that statement as offensive? I think it's admirable to put in an effort like that, especially when you know that you don't really have a chance of doing well.

Olympiad is not a competition for countries but for individuals .It is for this reason that we dont have an official country ranking.
Olympaid and others international competitions would help to keep the peace between the lands.
I apolozise for what amir has said(close friends).
Our team in its first attemps in imo , didnt get lots of points too,but it is not something to be embarrassed of .
Thanks to the the imo instructors and countries instructors that gived us such a chance to have a peacefull competition.
May all be in peace.
