Fun Factory Guidelines

These guidelines should be followed in the new Fun Factory subforum of Games. They are generally similar to those that were in place when we had games and fun factory.

1) Absolutely no personal insults will be tolerated.

2) There are users of all ages and backgrounds on this site. Anything that may be deemed offense will not be tolerated.

3) Spam will be edited or removed at the discretion of Moderators and Administrators. If we feel a topic is still too 'frivolous' it is up to our discretion to lock or delete it (more often the former).

4) Treat each other with respect.

5) Moderators are here to help you. Should you have any questions, ask one of us.

6) The discussion and promotion of illegal activities is not allowed. (This includes filesharing)

7) Do not advertise the products or services of any organization. There is a difference between an advertisement and a recommendation.

8) Use your discretion when bumping an 'inactive' thread (generally a thread that has not been posted in for a month or so). If you feel your comment is relevant to discussion posted then you can bump it but it is ok to start a new discussion.

9) This forum was created because moderators and administrators felt that Games and Fun Factory was getting overloaded with spam and flooding out the more serious discussions that don't quite fit in Round Table. This doesn't give you permission to spam. You should still refrain from making one word or irrelevant posts.

Thanks.

Another Hurt and Heal? Jesus - I might ban all Hurt and Heals in the Fun Factory if this keeps up...

Could you? Please?

Hmm, I'm having a bad day actually, so from here on out, I decree that any more Hurt and Heal variations will be deleted on the spot.

No more hurt and heals!

If you're referring to your first post in the thread (post #48), you can't delete it. The only time you can fully delete one of your posts is when it is the most recent post in a particular thread. You can edit out the contents of one of your posts that is not the most recent, but there is a time limit for editing posts, which has expired for the post in question. (I think the time limit is 36 hours, but I'm not sure).

I posted a thread, but people did not follow directions, so we had to start over. I started a new thread. Could you please lock the old thread? It is the one with 3 pages, do not lock the new one by mistake. The name of the game is "NOT hurt and heal"

Can you please stop making spam posts and topics. The mod doesn't need to lock it or delete it. Just don't post on that thread anymore.

I wonder why the post number game got moved. It has to do with math, and is certainly less frivolous than many other threads in the Games Forum...... Huh?

Posts in the Fun Factory do not count towards your post count. The Games forum was originally intended to be serious discussion of games, but has since then spiraled into pointless and random threads.

At any rate, you shouldn't worry about your post count. At all.
