MATHCOUNTS Coaches Forum

We now have a private forum just for MATHCOUNTS Coaches. Students, please do not request to join this forum! It is for coaches only to discuss coaching issues.

In order to join the forum, log in, then follow these steps:

1) Join the MATHCOUNTS Coaches Usergroup by clicking here, and clicking 'Join Group'.

2) Send a private message to user rrusczyk by clicking here. To complete that form, enter the following:

Username: rrusczyk
Subject: MATHCOUNTS Coaches
Message Body: Please give the name of the school you coach.

This private message will be sent to rrusczyk.

After completing the form, click Submit.

3) rrusczyk will periodically review the requests to join the MATHCOUNTS Coaches forum and add those he determines to be MATHCOUNTS Coaches. Again, students should *not* try to join this group.

If you have any questions, please post here or send a message to rrusczyk.

May I join this group?

*cough*

Sorry.

I'll ask my MathCounts coach if she'd like to join the AoPS forums in order to join the usergroup.

This forum is just for coaches - we'd be very happy to have your coach join!

Um, no - self-taught does not quite fit what we're aiming for here.

The irony is that all the GOOD coaches I know (nationals 4 out of 6 years) don't know how to use the internet, let alone a Forum...

Same man! Smile

But I don't think my coach would be too interested. I kind of had to coach the team by myself this year...

I'm a higher schooler in MAO and I help coach our middle school's Mathcounts and BCCTM teams with their sponsor. Am I aloud to join? (Our sponsor is dead in her work, so I'm the only link to the outside Mathcounts world [excluding their contact with other at competitions]) for the middle school.)

im wondering what the minimum age to be a coach is at a middle school, and how you would sign up as a coach.
