About two mysterious scores
Israel team

At the imo official page I saw that two contestants of the Israel team , one with 8 points and the other with 3 points , and they got bronze medal and honorable mention respectively. Why this did happen ? Could someone tells us about that story ?

See the footnote:
§ Contestant was awarded by the decision of the Jury due to special circumstances.

The Hebrew translation of the problem texts had a mistake that made a problem trivial.

This was problem IMO 2005/4. The correct formulation was:
Determine all positive integers relatively prime to all the terms of the infinite sequence a_n=2^n+3^n+6^n -1.

In the Hebrew version, a typo had turned one of the plusses into a minus:
Determine all positive integers relatively prime to all the terms of the infinite sequence a_n=2^n+3^n-6^n -1.
