Olympiad Algebra Tournament
10 challenging rounds!

I have loved Algebra for a long time and now I still love it. I also have an inspiration to make an tournament which is ALL ABOUT Algebra. It's actually the most fun and interesting field that I have known for many years(well, I didn't know many fields though Razz ).Therefore, I decide to open this tournament, mostly to share some of my experience that I have had while continuing to help people who want to prepare for the AIME,USAMO and even IMO-level have a chance to practice here! I will try to make as many own problems as I can, but possibly I would "borrow" and alternate some problems from some books. Regardless of this weakness, if u want to join, feel free to register until June 18th . Some information are following:

Rule: In each round, I will give out 4 problems on every Sunday, and you guys will have 5 days to do and send me your proofs to those problems(so, it's due on Friday every weeks!). There are total 10 rounds.
Grading: 7 points for each problem. Partial Credits will be given out for solutions that have some "cool" progress. My judge on your work is final. The winner will be the one who has the highest cumulative score after 10 rounds.
Awards: One e-book will be given out, which u can order whatever u like and I'll try my best to find it for u. In case I can't find it, I will replace with another e-book that I have and see if u like it or not. If not, you can ask for another one.

calc rulz will be helping me on grading the problems when the tournament occurs.

So, let's join now AOPSER'S! Smile

I'll join, but you might be missing a few weeks of proofs during summer due to laziness Razz

I join. Can you post which areas of Algebra will there be?
Do you include inequalities in (please, yes)?
Awards: to winner only, or some more?

Sure, I'll join, though I'll fail.

Will PM reminders be sent at the beginning of rounds? I don't check the Pre-Olympiad forum much.
