It is impossible to "major in calculus". Mathematics is the minimal "major" you can declare. Of course, you can specialize in analysis when writing your diploma or thesis to get your degree but it doesn't prevent you from getting any job a person specializing in other math. subjects would be able to get or to gain a noticeable advantage over him. If you stay in academia, you may have to formally declare your "area" but outside academia, it doesn't matter: there you are just solving any math. problems that arise in any way you can using whatever knowledge you possess and, from my personal consulting experience, you never know what would come handy before you see the question. In finance and actuarial science, solid knowledge of statistics and probability theory is a must; some jobs require good programming skills, etc. but if you want to shoot high, you should know a little bit of everything and a good chunk of something but, above all, be open-minded and ready to learn new things when necessary. As to what jobs are currently available for mathematicians, just google "jobs for mathematicians" and see for yourself.
