How to quote a picture?

How do you "quote" a picture that someone else has posted? I've seen people do that, like
"so and so wrote: (picture)"
Do you have to save the picture and upload it yourself? Thanks!

It depends on where the picture is from.

If the picture is just embedded in the post, it means that the picture was from somewhere on the internet. If you quote that type of picture, it will embed and show in the quoted part of your post.

If the picture was uploaded, there will be a box around it and a file name above it. You can't quote these attached pictures directly in your quote, but you can put it back in yourself. To do that, click on the picture (a page should come with just the picture and white space around it). Then, copy the URL (address) and paste it into your post wherever you want it to go, which can include the quote. Put [img] tags around it, like this:
