Microsoft Word 2007 Formatting

Dunno what forum specifically to post this in so I guess I'll just post here.

Does anyone here know how to get rid of headers/footers in MS Word 2007 from the 2nd and 3rd pages of a 3-page paper? Because I only want the header to appear on the first page, and not on the 2nd and 3rd pages, but whenever I tried to delete the header from the 2nd and 3rd pages, the header on all the pages disappears.

I also tried googling stuff like this for help, but none of those work. Help please? Sad

This probably isn't exactly what you want but I would go about it in a more "brute force" way. By that, I mean manually create headers and footers where you need them, through text boxes or expanding the margins. I'm not sure if you can selectively choose the pages where the headers and footers appear.

I think you're confused about the notion of headers and footers. Generally, they are things that go at the top of every page, except possibly "important" pages (e.g., first pages).
