Polar equation

Show that the curve whose polar equation is r = a + b \sec \theta, where a > b > 0, has a loop. Prove that the area enclosed by the loop is
a^2 \arccos \frac {b}{a} + b\sqrt{a^2 - b^2} - 2ab \ln \frac {a + \sqrt {a^2 - b^2}}{b}.

hello, you must use the formula
A=\frac{1}{2}\int_{\phi_1^}^{\phi_2}r^2\,d\phi
Sonnhard.
