What an impressive accomplishment--great problems, great field of contestants, great setting, great speakers!

The suffragettes who once gathered in that historic Great Hall where the awards ceremony was held would be beaming with pride if they could have seen all the young women with so much mathematical promise who gathered there yesterday.

I have a post on my blog

I'll have more later.

Hi Mary,

I can't comment on your blog, but that was a wonderful summary -- thanks! Also, congratulations to everyone involved!

Will there be a posting of everyone's scores from the math prize for girls?

Eventually, yes. First, I will make public the names and scores of a few more top girls, probably on the Math Prize site. Second, I will email all the contestants their scores. (The scores will be keyed by the student number given on the student's name badge.) Third, I plan to produce a few statistics on the scores. If everything goes well, expect these things by Friday.

Lynnelle is spelled with two ns. Could you please correct that? Thanks! :)

Sorry about that. I just fixed it. I hope we got it right on the oversized check.

Thanks! Don't worry about it. It's correct on the big check, though wrong in the press release :P

Sorry, I'll try to make sure it's corrected in any press going forward, though we can't undo the past. By the way, congrats on your fine performance!

Hello, great job writing the contest! I liked the problems a lot. In particular, I thought that the algebra problems were nice.

Thanks! Given that you have written some excellent mock contests in the past, I'll take that as high praise.

I neglected to mention that several reviewers helped me figure out which of my 60 proposed questions were any good. I'll single out JBL for special mention -- thanks, Joel!

I updated my original post with a list of other contestants who did well, just shy of Honorable Mention.

When you have time, Ravi, it would also be nice to see the tiebreak questions posted. I really liked them, too!

Sure, I'll post the two tiebreak questions in separate threads. They were meant to be easier than the contest questions. The quickest contestant in tiebreaks (Joy Zheng) solved them in 18 seconds and 24 seconds, respectively.

That's quite impressive. By the way, it looks like Joy followed up her second place finish at MPG with an extremely impressive second place overall individual finish at PUMaC this past Saturday!
