But I think it'd be torture for me to read it a little each day, only when I have spare time...and I've never been to CTY before so I don't know how much spare time I'm going to get, but I'd rather be at home, comfortable, being able to start and stop whenever I want.
You get plenty of spare time at nights and on weekends to right I read Goblet of Fire at CTY. If you do not like torture and you like Harry Potter, then it will be torture to see a lot of campers read it while you are not!

I didn't know it was 'official' that a main character would die, but with a war going on the book would be pretty unrealistic if nobody readers cared about died, so it's probably nearly a given.
CTY camp? at where?
Does anyone know who dies in the story?

Good point. Hmm, I'll make sure to get it before I leave then...

It's easier for you to find me than the other way around, since I have my full name in my username

Goblet of Fire at CTY
Yes, I remember that I was also at CTY when Goblet of Fire came out. I recall students going to the Stanford Bookstore to buy the book (even though it was vastly overpriced: $40-50 I believe) or having it shipped to them while at camp. That was the first time I heard about Harry Potter and started to read the books. I look forward to the next one, though at the moment the imminent release of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith has been diverting my attention from the Harry Potter book release.

I remember reading the first Harry Potter at age seven, before anybody had even heard of it. Then there was this huge popularity surge, and it lost its appeal. Oh well...even though the merchandise is really annoying, the books are still among my favorites (though I'd rather read a good John Irving or Philip Roth any day) and I will get the sixth when it comes out.

Ron should die a quick but painful death, so he can be gone faster.

boys aren't allowed into the girls chambers, you should know that. no invisibility cloak is going to fool the spell that is protecting them.
