Using TeX in the Classroom handout wrote:
In order to use TeX in a class post, begin the post with a semicolon (; ). This tells the classroom that you are using TeX. If you forget to use the semicolon, your post will simply come up as regular text. ... It may take a little getting used to using the semicolon, but the TeX will make all of your mathematical expressions look much nicer. If you have little experience using TeX it is a good idea to practice using TeX in the forums. You do not need to use the semicolon there. Just be sure to write your math expressions between the dollar signs.

So basically, insert your ;, and do what you would normally do here on the forums (dollar signs and all). I assume you know how to get into math mode from your previous post. Smile

Hope that helped.
