Random Card Game

Sat Nov 07, 2009 9:37 am

Players: 1, 2, or 4

Take a deck of cards, or n number such that n is a natural number and the decks are all of the same size. You will need a large playing space for this, depending on how many decks you choose to use. Set some boundaries.

Solitaire

Shuffle them all, and place them in one stack. Put the first card down. Put the next card down, such that it is bordering the first card. In general, all cards have to be touching all the other ones in an indirect manner or so. The objective is to create "territories", by making the largest space possibles. There are 4 different "tribes", each being a different suit. One suit loses when it cannot place a card next to another of the same suit (or in other words, trapped).

Not solitaire

Same as before, but you give each person 2 or 1 suit(s).

Problems with this game

Once you run out of cards, and there are two suits alive, how do you deal with that?

Once a suit dies, what can you do with them w/o throwing them out?
