Art of Problem Solving texts are designed for outstanding math students to present a broader and deeper mathematics education than the standard curriculum. Our Introduction series offers a comprehensive and challenging curriculum for students in grades 6-10. The series includes Introduction to Algebra, Introduction to Counting & Probability, Introduction to Geometry, and Introduction to Number Theory. These texts are used by many of the top students in the country as their middle school and early high school math curriculum, and help students prepare for the mathematical challenges they will face in college and beyond. Many 9th and 10th graders (and some older students) use Volume 1 of our Art of Problem Solving textbooks to prepare for the AMC 10 and AMC 12. More experienced students, such as those who are confident they will qualify for the AIME, should start with Volume 2. If you've mastered all the material in both books, you're ready for our Olympiad Guide. Other books of interest can be found here. |
