Here is an example LaTeX document prepared by an Art of Problem Solving Community member. Students wishing to submit examples should not feel obliged to make documents as intricate as the one below - we would like to include some more introductory examples with these. The papers below are listed roughly in order of the complexity of LaTeX tools used.
An Introduction to Statistics by Keone Hon. Click here for the source files. This example is a thorough introduction to statistics that illustrates a table of contents, an index, and the newtheorem and newenvironment commands. It also uses counters to create a numbering system and shows how to include JPG images in a LaTeX document. To compile this file, download the source files, which will appear as a ZIP directory (meaning it is a group of files that have been compressed). Extract the files to a folder of your choosing, then try to compile the document as usual. You will need to compile the file more than once to get the referencing and indexing to work.
