While the deletion policy of AoPSWiki is much looser than that of Wikipedia, the blocking policy is much stricter. All penalties are at the discretion of the admins, and do not necessarily reflect this page.
Blocking Policies

| Insulted or displayed provoked hostility to other members of the AoPSWiki 5-10 times | 1-2 months |
| Insulted or displayed provoked hostility to other members of the AoPSWiki 11+ times | Indefinite block |
| Vandalized pages deliberately | Week-long block |
| Vandalized pages deliberately and repeatedly, after being warned and blocked | Indefinite block |
| Created blatant advert | 1-2 day block |
| Continued creating adverts after block expired | 1-2 month block |
| Continued creating adverts after second block expired | Indefinite block |
| Created double account (also known as a sockpuppet) | Indefinite block |
| Is banned on forums already | Blocked for length of ban on forum. |
