Increasing sequence

A sequence x_1, x_2, x_3, \ldots of real numbers is called an increasing sequence if x_1 \leq x_2 \leq x_3 \leq \ldots. If x_1 < x_2 < x_3 \ldots, the sequence is called strictly increasing.
