Sam Vandervelde

Sam Vandervelde is one of the founders of the Mandelbrot Competition and still runs the competition. He is also an instructor for the Worldwide Online Olympiad Training (WOOT) program. He was an IMO silver medalist, a 2-time winner of the USAMO, a perfect scorer on the AIME, and a top-10 participant at National MATHCOUNTS. He is now a professor at St. Lawrence University.
