Talk:Algebra

From AoPSWiki

This article is probably best organized by difficulty levels (Intro, Intermediate, Olympiad, Advanced) than by concept. This allows the reader to know which topics they should read.--MCrawford 14:31, 18 June 2006 (EDT)

I think a distinction should be made between Algebra as an area of study, and "an algebra", referring to a class of sets satisfying certain properties. This would require a disambiguation page, but I am not sure how to set one up. There should also be some discussion about what to call the two pages which deal with the two different meanings of algebra. --User:Asymptosis
