Multiple Proofs? I think the proof where you draw the diagonals and flip one of the triangles to get a quadrilateral ABCD' and then use the (1/2)ab sin C formula is a bit shorter and easier to understand. Anyone else agree?--IntrepidMath 15:42, 17 February 2007 (EST)

I do not follow your proof sketch, but (a better version of) the proof given in the article generalizes easily to Ptolemy's Inequality, and I don't know if yours does. But if your proof is nice, by all means, write it in. You don't have to ask everyone else. —Boy Soprano II 19:24, 17 February 2007 (EST)
