Posting[edit]
If the chatroom is moderated, which is always the case during MathJams and usually the case during class, when students type things into the chatroom, the message goes to the instructors. From there, the instructors have the choice of sharing the question with the class, whispering an answer back, or doing nothing. Your post will show up in the classroom in your preferred color (you can change this in the settings) if it is chosen. Other people's chosen posts will show up in a blue(or gray) color. If you get a reply back in a whisper(a text just for you), it will show up in a pink or purple color(Or the color that you are typing in). If a moderator feels a question requires further discussion, they will open a mini window with you to more deeply discuss the question.
