Writing scholarships

The following list of writing scholarships — scholarships granted based primarily upon a submitted essay — is primarily for American students. This list can be reorganized to incorporate scholarship programs in other countries. Just make that reorganization as clear and as clean as possible.

Additions to this list are welcomed and encouraged. Please don't be stingy about letting students in on how they can finance their educations!

General Writing Scholarships

• LawyerBound’s “Spokane Community Scholarship 2023 applicants must be planning on attending an accredited United States law school in the future. This is open to everyone from high school seniors, college students & First Year Incoming Law Students who currently have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

• Sacramento Driving as a Family Scholarship (2023) Learning to drive is one of the biggest life moments. Fortunately, many of us have had supportive family members to help teach and encourage us as we navigate roads for the first time. we would like to offer a scholarship to a student whose family has helped them become a safer driver.

• OptimizeMyFirm “Legal Marketing Scholarship 2023 In order to be eligible to apply for the Optimize My Firm Legal Marketing Scholarship, applicants must be planning on attending an accredited United States college or university in 2023. This is open to high school seniors who have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

• Safe for All: Florida Visitors Roadway Safety Scholarship We believe that our roadways should be safe for all drivers. As such, we must work together to develop solutions to keep all drivers safe. In a 500-word essay, please provide a solution to reduce the occurrence of fatal accidents for tourists on Florida’s roadways.

• Future Lawyer Scholarship is open to a deserving law student who authors the winning submission in their essay contest.

• Small Business Marketing Scholarship Zampi, Inc. A small business marketing platform is offering 1,000 dollar scholarship. To enter, simple create a small business marketing plan (min 800 words) and submit it on our site!

• Maison Law Students with Injuries Scholarship is offering a $1,000 scholarship opportunity to college and college-bound students who have suffered a serious injury.

• Mixed Martial Arts Scholarship Eligible applicants are required to submit a video or 800-1500 word essay on the topic “Best Martial Arts for Self Defense” in order to be considered.

• CCD Law Spokane Community Scholarship 2023 The CCD Law Spokane Community Scholarship is available to high school seniors who reside in Washington and will be attending college in the fall. The scholarship award is 500 USD.

• James A. Wells, Sr. Veterans Scholarship 2023 To honor her late father, attorney Cara Wells Stigger, of Kaufman & Stigger, PLLC, has offered scholarships for U.S. active duty military personnel, veterans, reservist, and spouses, and children of someone who has served our country. Two students will be awarded 1000 USD.

• Aspiring Lawyer Scholarship 2023 At Maison Law, we encourage the most committed students to pursue their legal career dreams. To lend our support, we are offering a 1000 USD scholarship.
